“What did you do in the Lockdown Daddy…?”
“I worked my butt off son…”
Well it seems that way anyway.  We have Praying Mantis, Stray and Vambo all in the final stages of recording their new albums although set release dates are not finalised yet. Hopefully in time for their tours later this year.

Stray, Vambo and The Groundhogs are keeping their fingers crossed for their summer festival appearances to go ahead. As we write they are all on, as per their webpages. Silja Rock Sweden/Finland is still waiting for the Government green light for which we are hopeful in September.

Vambo have been invited as special guests on the Cats in Space ‘Atlantis’ tour starting in August. Then they have 12 shows with Praying Mantis in October before ending the year with the Cats Christmas parties in December. Stray and The Groundhogs will finish the 2020 50/50 tour in November with shows at Newcastle, Bilston and Newport.

Vambo Tour 2022

Monstrous Child Ltd are delighted to be the main booking agent for The Cavern, Raynes Park in SW London. This venue goes from strength to strength as a great rock club only 20 minutes from the centre of London. During the socially distanced period up until July we have The Groundhogs, Spike from The Quireboys (sold out 2 shows), John Sloman (Ex Lone Star/Gary Moore/ UFO/ Uriah Heep/ Praying Mantis), Matt Pearce & The Mutiny and Jill Saward (Fusion Orchestra / Shakatak) all appearing. Later this year Vambo, Syteria, Electric Black, Praying Mantis and John Coghlan’s Quo will also be playing.

On the matter of socially distanced / seated gigs we have also been very busy and are proud to present Spike from The Quireboys. This is his first solo tour and he will blend some of his favourite tunes with stories from across his career. These shows are all ticket – available from the venues.
