November 2022

November 2022

Despite a very difficult year we have kept the flag flying and appreciate all the love and support that you have shown me in particular. I would especially like to thank all my friends in Granada in Spain who looked after me during those months. You are amazing.

Monstrous ChildSpike has a handful of shows remaining this year on which he will be ably accompanied by Chris Heilman. Then on 15th December Spike reunites The Quireboys for a headline show at The O2 Islington. They will also release their new single  for Christmas – “Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year” It is classic Christmas.

2023 will see Spike and The Quireboys recording their brand new album and various festival performances. In the meantime, watch out for those award winning evenings with Spike, the rock and roll storyteller.

Stray finish their gigging year early on Friday 11th November at The Stables Milton Keynes. It will celebrate the publication of Del Bromham’s autobiography, appropriately titled, ‘Rock and Roll Survivor’. Indeed next year will mark the 47th year since I started working with Del – reason enough for a new album which will be released in 2023.

After the success of  the latest Praying Mantis album ‘Katharsis’ in 2022 they will be bringing the show to Europe and Australia and Japan. Work will commence on the new album and work is already underway to bring out a compilation album of live tracks from across the years.

Rock Bottom perform the music and magic of UFO / Michael Schenker Group. After seeing them perform in South London recently and the realisation that it was highly unlikely that I would ever see my heroes reunite I thought that  Rock Bottom are as good as it can get ! They were another top choice to take over to Silja Rock Cruise 2023

In other news we are pleased to be working with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Les Binks and his cracking band Priesthood. No surprises here – they do what it says on the skins. Also we are booking the London based Madre Sun featuring Tyson Schenker. Seems like a pattern emerging here…

Finally congratulations to my old mates Massive Wagons on their new album charting. They always remember me whenever they come to London and that is much appreciated.
